Property registration relates to the legal issues handled in accordance with the Property Registration Act. The most common issues involve parcelling into sub-divisions, partitioning, and merger of properties. A property registration procedure enables a property division to be amended, or an easement created, altered, or terminated.
The area also includes issues Joint Facilities Act and the Utilities Easement Act. The Joint Facilities Act relates to such areas as the establishment, amendment, and termination of joint facilities, e.g. for roads. We also work with issues relating to the administration of joint facilities pursuant to the provisions of the Joint Property Management Associations Act, with regard both to joint property management associations and residents’ association management. The Utilities Management Act relates to the conditions under which and extent to which areas may be utilised for different types of utilities and associated facilities. These may involve pipework for electricity, water, sewage, data or telecoms, etc. The common denominator for property registration issues is that questions of compensation are often of considerable importance.
